Buyers on Dudils arrive with a block already bought. They type in the address or the block dimensions, and the search shows them only the plans whose living areas face north on that block. If one of those plans is yours, the enquiry lands on your website from a plan page that has already done the orientation conversation for you.
Listing is free. Give us your website address at the top of this page and we bring your range across for you, or upload plans one at a time below. Nothing is published until a registered architect has reviewed it.

We check your robots.txt and the licensing on the images first, email you to confirm, and the architect reviews every plan before it goes live. The crawl runs at about one page a second so it never loads your site.

A search here starts with a block, not a mood board. The person who clicks through to your site has a lot, a rough budget and a plan that fits both, so the conversation starts at the contract rather than the brochure.
Your whole range, without the retyping
If you have more than a handful of plans, request a crawl. We read the plans off your website, check the licensing on the images, confirm the details with you, and the architect reviews each one before it goes live.
A followed link from every approved plan
Each approved plan links straight to your website with a normal followed link, and so does your page in the builder directory. Those links come from pages about house plans and orientation, and search engines count them toward your own site's authority.
An independent review on your name
Shea Cullen, Nominated Registered Architect NSW 9748, checks every plan personally. A buyer comparing you with a volume builder sees a plan that passed an orientation check by someone who does not work for either of you, with the review recorded against it.
The plan drawn on their block
In NSW a searcher sees your floor plan sitting on their own cadastre lot, north up, with the setbacks drawn. That is the sketch your sales consultant normally has to open the meeting with, and it is done before they ring.
What our architect checks
Every plan is reviewed personally by Shea Cullen, Nominated Registered Architect NSW 9748, against three things:
- North facing living areas. The main living zones get winter sun when the plan sits on the right block.
- Garage placement. The garage sits to the west or south, where it buffers the home from heat and cold instead of taking the best light.
- Windows where they matter. Every north facing room has a window to collect that light.
A plan that cannot meet this on any block is knocked back, and we say why. Renders, elevations and marketing images are not accepted: the review needs the floor plan itself.

Each plan takes a few minutes: the block width and depth it is drawn for, which way north falls on the plan, the garage side, and a clean floor plan image. Add up to 20 plans in one sitting. Every approved plan links to the company website you enter.
Questions builders ask
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Listing is free and stays free. The paid builder services (an embedded orientation search for your own website, per plan orientation advice and sales team masterclasses) are separate and optional, and they are described on the For Builders page.
- Is the link to my website a real, followed link?
- Yes. Every approved plan links to your website with a standard link and no nofollow attribute, and so does your page in the builder directory. Search engines treat those links as a vote for your site, and they come from pages about house plans and orientation, which is the subject your site is about.
- What do you need from me for a crawl?
- Your website address, the states you build in, and an email we can reply to. We check your robots.txt and the licensing on your plan images first, then email you to confirm before anything is published. You can still upload individual plans in the meantime.
- Why would a plan be knocked back?
- Three reasons cover almost every rejection: the living areas cannot face north on any block, the garage sits on the north side, or a north facing room has no window. We tell you which one applied. Where a small change would get the plan through, such as a window on a north facing bedroom, we say so.
- Who sees my plans?
- Anyone searching Dudils, including people who arrive from Google looking for north facing or three bedroom plans, and buyers on the NSW block search who see your plan drawn on their lot. Your plans also appear on the category pages and on your own builder page.
- Can I take a plan down later?
- Yes. Email shea@goodarchitect.com.au with the plan and we remove it. The listing is yours to keep up or pull at any time, and there is no contract behind it.
