Yes, if you have one or two designs you would build again. A listing is how a block owner finds you; the brief that follows is usually custom, because the lot is never quite the one the plan was drawn for.

Who owns the design once it is on Dudils?

You do. We show the floor plan image you upload, credited to your practice and linking to your website. Nothing is redrawn or resold, and you can ask for it to come down at any time.

Do I need to give away the full drawings?

No. A single floor plan image at a readable resolution is all the review needs. Do not upload construction documentation; the listing shows the room layout, the dimensions you enter and the link to you.

Put your house designs in front of people who care which way they face

Most house plan sites sort designs by price per square metre. Dudils sorts them by whether the living areas will face north on the block the searcher owns, which is the question you already designed for.

Reviewed by a peer, not a listing algorithm

Shea Cullen, Nominated Registered Architect NSW 9748, reads every plan. The review looks for three things: north facing living, the garage away from the north, and a window in every north facing room. Your design is listed with that review recorded against it.

Seen on the searcher's own block

In NSW the searcher sees your plan drawn on their cadastre lot with north up and the setbacks on. Your design is presented the way you would present it, on a site, rather than as a thumbnail in a grid.

Listed beside the Pattern Book

The NSW Housing Pattern Book designs screen on the same page your plan appears on. A searcher comparing an endorsed government pattern with your design sees both treated the same way, with the same orientation check.

What our architect checks

Every plan is reviewed personally by Shea Cullen, Nominated Registered Architect NSW 9748, against three things:

North facing living areas. The main living zones get winter sun when the plan sits on the right block.
Garage placement. The garage sits to the west or south, where it buffers the home from heat and cold instead of taking the best light.
Windows where they matter. Every north facing room has a window to collect that light.

A plan that cannot meet this on any block is knocked back, and we say why. Renders, elevations and marketing images are not accepted: the review needs the floor plan itself.
