Put your plans in front of buyers who already have a block
Dudils is where Australians choose a house plan by the block they own. Every plan is checked by a registered architect for north facing living, then matched to real lots. When a buyer searches their block and your design fits it, you are the builder in the room.
1,823 plans reviewed by an architect · 78 builders listed · Free to list
The sale you lose after the contract is signed
Most buyers pick a plan from a brochure, then try to make it work on the block they already own. Nobody checks which way the living areas face until the BASIX or NatHERS assessment comes back. Then it is upgraded glazing, extra insulation, maybe mechanical cooling. Nasty additional sums, an unhappy client, and a variation conversation nobody enjoys.
Dudils flips that order. Orientation is sorted at plan choice, not at compliance time. Buyers search by their block, see only plans whose living areas capture north on it, and walk into your sales office already matched to a design that works.
How it works for builders
Your range goes on
Upload your plans free, or talk to us about bringing your whole catalogue across. Listing costs nothing.
An architect assesses each plan
North facing living, garage placement, windows on the northern rooms. Approved plans carry that assessment as data.
Buyers find you by their block
A buyer enters block width, depth and street direction. Your plans appear on the blocks they suit, north always up like a map.
Nobody becomes a builder to build the wrong house
You got into this to build streets people love coming home to. Orientation is the cheapest upgrade in Australian housing: the same plan, placed right, is warmer in winter, cooler in summer and cheaper to run for the life of the home.
It also passes BASIX and NatHERS without the nasty extra sums landing on your client after they have signed. Build a better Australia with us, one correctly oriented home at a time.

Paid services never change what gets approved or how results rank. Every plan meets the same architectural standard, paid or not. The advisory earns its keep by making your plans genuinely suit more blocks.
Who you are dealing with
Dudils is run by Shea Cullen, a registered architect who has personally assessed every plan on the site. He built Dudils after years of watching good plans go on the wrong blocks: homes that needed heating at lunchtime in winter because the living room faced the street instead of the sun.
The plan reviews, the advisory reports and the masterclasses all come from the same person applying the same standard. No outsourced checklists.

Questions builders ask us
Is listing my plans free?
Yes. Listing on Dudils is free and stays free. Upload your plans, our architect reviews them, and approved plans appear in search results matched to real blocks. The paid services below are optional extras for builders who want more.
Do paid services change what gets approved or how plans rank?
No, never. Every plan is held to the same architectural standard whether its builder pays us or not, and search results are ordered by how well a plan fits the searcher's block. What the advisory does is make your plans genuinely better oriented, so more of them earn a place in more searches.
How does the embedded search work?
We set up the Dudils search on your website, filtered to show only your plans. Your visitors type in their block dimensions and street direction and immediately see which of your designs capture north on that block. Setup is handled with your web team and support is included.
What does Orientation Advisory actually deliver?
A registered architect reassesses every plan in your range and writes practical guidance for each one: where the living zones should sit, which windows matter, whether a mirrored version unlocks more blocks, and which garage side works. You get a written report per plan plus updated orientation data on Dudils.
What do BASIX and NatHERS have to do with plan choice?
A lot. Orientation is one of the biggest levers in a thermal assessment. A plan placed well on its block can pass with standard specifications, while the same plan facing the wrong way often needs upgraded glazing, extra insulation or mechanical cooling to comply, and that cost usually surfaces after contract.
How is pricing billed?
Prices are shown as monthly figures and billed annually in Australian dollars, plus GST. We confirm scope and terms on a short call before anything is signed, so there are no surprises on either side.
Who runs the assessments and masterclasses?
Shea Cullen, the registered architect behind Dudils. The same person who has personally assessed every plan on the site runs the plan reviews and teaches the masterclasses.
